We're snooping your pages.  We're creeping your posts.  We're sharing your stuff.
We will not discriminate.  (Although we will often poke fun.)

If you want what's "best" in fitness, DON'T READ THIS! If you want truth, proceed.

We often get our Snoops from the land of Facebook, however, rarely is a Snoop something from Facebook itself.  (Lordy knows that megasite doesn't need any more promotional help, right?) But this nifty post from the A Science Enthusiast group was just too juicy and apropos not to share.

It is a tidy list disputing commonly held beliefs.  Science has debunked or denounced the beliefs of these items, and yet the ideas still persist in pop-fitness circles as somehow accurate, or at least meritorious.  (They're not.)

And while the list is, itself, not cited, it does come from a group with a strong focus in citation of work, so I think we can trust that the claims made are more vetted than the pop fitness claims they dispute.  (Of course, we at The Snoop eagerly encourage you to do your own personal research – which is really the whole point of it all anyway!)

For anyone interested in keeping the basics straight, this one is worth a read. (And a good chuckle.

This round, once again:
