Guys who are not behemoths tend to undercut their progress by not envisioning themselves moving big weight. To those who are under 180 lbs or so, I submit this remarkable feat accomplished by Olympic lifter Muhammed Begaliev at the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus Ohio this past weekend (March 4, 2013).
This man is a mere 170 lbs. Yet he is snatching 150 kilograms over his head. What you are seeing is more skill than sheer strength, friends. And certainly a lot of confidence.
Confidence comes BEFORE big lifts, not afterwards as a result.
